Welcome Breakfast - SJSU Career center

• The Welcoming Event, proudly supported by the SJSU Division of Student Affairs, SJSU Career Center, and BRAVEN, was a pivotal gathering for engineers of all levels who attended Black Engineer Week.
• Held on June 16th from 8:30 am to 10 am at the Dr. Martin Luther King Library on the SJSU campus, the event served as the official welcome to an exciting week ahead.
• Its primary purpose was to help engineers of color prepare themselves for the forthcoming conference events, empowering them to effectively tell their stories in a way that paved the path for professional advancement.
• By bringing together a diverse and talented group of individuals, the event set the stage for a week of inspiration, education, and networking opportunities that fueled career growth and success.

SPEED NETWORK LUNCH AT JABIL

• This special occasion is designed to empower engineers of color by helping them refine the art of storytelling in a way that leads to professional advancement.
• The event welcomes all Black Engineer Week attendees and takes place from 11:30 am to 5:20 pm on June 16th at the Blue Sky Innovation Center, hosted by Jabil.
• The day begins with an informative company tour that aims to ignite a powerful image of engineers, science, and technology in the minds of participants.
• It sets the stage for a week of inspiration, learning, and networking opportunities that are poised to fuel career growth and success throughout the conference.
• This event is a unique opportunity to kickstart Black Engineer Week, fostering a sense of community and empowering engineers to chart a path to professional excellence.
  

GOLF SOCIAL EVENT

Black Engineer Week attendees were in for an unforgettable experience in conjunction with the BGS. It was a dynamic event that welcomed all participants to the Spartan Golf Complex, and it wasn't just any ordinary welcome event; it was a journey into the world of networking, fun, and golf.

🎉 Why: It wasn't just about networking; it was about socializing and introducing black professionals to the art of golf, a game that's all about precision, strategy, and, of course, having a great time!

BEST AT THE TECH Networking Event

BEST AT THE TECH is an event created to socialize with Black Engineers, Scientists, and Techies (BEST) while immersing in exhibits that spark your imagination at the number one interactive museum in San Jose!

HIKING SOCIAL EVENT

The hiking event provides an informal setting for Black professionals to socialize and broaden their network. The 4 mile hike will take place at The Rancho San Antonio County Park at Cupertino.

NETWORKING LUNCH EVENT

Networking Lunch BEST science and engineering presentations is a showcase of graduate students and postdocs. The Industry Lunch took place at different Silicon Valley Company Locations.
